A pregnant woman
Third trimester pregnancy

TH WEEK: You have completed your second trimester and are beginning your third. The baby can open his or her eyes, has growing fingernails and eyelashes, and is still ingesting amniotic fluid. Being the size of a lettuce, the infant has little room to somersault and perform other maneuvers.

TH WEEK: Your baby looks more like a newborn, only a little smaller, with continuous movements, kicks, and stretches. If a light is shining on the belly, the baby will kick in response. They can also detect familiar noises, especially their mother's voice. The baby is the size of a rutabaga.

TH WEEK: The central nervous system is growing by billions of new nerve cells. The baby's senses of hearing, touch, and smell are all fully formed and operational. The baby is the size of an eggplant.

TH WEEK: The third trimester officially begins at this point, your baby's weight triples as a result of extra fat deposits, senses continue to develop, and your baby may smile while sleeping. The baby is now the size of an acorn squash, and the kicks are more akin to jabs and pokes.

TH WEEK: the fingernails are still growing, the hands are forming, and the brain is still developing. During this period, keep a baby kick tracker. Your infant is about as big as a cucumber.

ST WEEK: Baby sleeps longer during this week, because their brains are still developing and are able to send and receive signals from their sense organs. It will also be busy performing certain habits, like as sucking its thumbs and making faces, hiccupping, swallowing, and breathing. A pineapple would be the size of the infant.

ND WEEK: The skin is opaque rather than transparent, and the other major organs are fully developed. The baby inhales amniotic fluid to practice using the lungs. Its size is comparable to a squash.

RD WEEK: The baby starts to consume up to a pint of amniotic fluid per day, which helps the digestive system become ready for after birth. Your baby's immune system is growing, and you are transferring antibodies to it so that it may create its own defense against germs and bacteria. The infant is about as big as a durian.

TH WEEK: the baby closes the eyes when asleep and opens them when awake and the little hands and feet can be seen when your baby poke them. During this time, the chess-like coating substance on your baby's skin thickens. In the case of a boy, the testicles enter the scrotum. The infant is about as big as a butternut.

TH WEEK: Your baby is still developing its brain and is gaining weight as a result of fat deposition. Until birth, the amniotic fluid declines, the kidneys reach complete maturity, and the liver has grown sufficiently to begin performing the detoxifying role. The infant is roughly the size of a coconut.

TH WEEK: Your baby continues to gain weight and loses the waxy substance called vernix caseosa that covers the skin and the downy coat of hair known as lanugo. The baby is the size of a honeydew.

TH WEEK: Your baby weighs around 2.966 grammes, is still practicing swallowing and sucking motions, breathing in and out amniotic fluid, and is still practicing gripping smaller items with the fingers, such as the nose or toes. Your child is regarded as term since he or she can survive outside the womb. Its size is comparable to a winter melon.

TH WEEK: The baby is estimated to weigh 7 pounds (3.186 grammes); nevertheless, there is a chance that your child will be smaller or larger, with an average weight between 2.5 and 4.5 grammes. Your baby also sheds off the soft fine hair called lanugo and it has the size of pumpkin.

TH WEEK: Your baby is positioned for birth and delivery, and all of its organs are fully formed and ready to function after birth. The infant is about as big as a watermelon.

TH WEEK: Baby is regarded to be term at this week, with better health outcomes and lower risk. Be prepared to see your baby at any moment. The infant is jackfruit-sized
